On 5-7 October 2026 Langflow published a batch of advisories. The worst, CVE-2026-105697 (CVSS 9.9), lets a user run operating-system commands on the Langflow host by saving a malicious MCP server configuration. The command runs as soon as Langflow tries to connect, even if the UI says the server failed to start.
It needs an account, but with the default LANGFLOW_AUTO_LOGIN=true, the /api/v1/auto_login endpoint hands a token to anyone who asks. So a default Langflow that others can reach is open to them without a password. Affected: 1.1.2 up to 1.10.3. Fixed: 1.10.3.
Find it at http://127.0.0.1:7860/api/v1/version (Langflow's default port), or with pip show langflow. The check runs in your browser.
LANGFLOW_AUTO_LOGIN=false and create real accounts. The advisory names this as a workaround.ss -tlnp | grep 7860 on Linux, netstat -ano | findstr :7860 on Windows). 0.0.0.0:7860 means other machines can connect. With Docker, publish it as -p 127.0.0.1:7860:7860, or put an authenticating reverse proxy in front.| Affected | Fixed in | Advisory |
